Sipgate is one of the largest VoIP providers in Europe and can also be conveniently operated with Xentral.
Incoming calls can be accepted or the existing addresses can be searched to start a call.
App Center → Sipgate → Settings
Only the username and the corresponding password of Sipgate have to be stored as access data. Before saving, this combination can be checked by clicking on "Test access data".
These settings are sufficient to start a call in Xentral. For this, a phone number can be typed or the phone book can be searched for company, contact person or (parts of the) phone number.
If the module Sipgate.io has been added, Xentral can also respond to incoming calls. For this, a valid webhook URL must be specified. If Xentral is only available on the company intranet, a proxy URL can be specified instead. Sipgate.io will report all incoming calls to this URL.
With a click on "Save" Xentral registers the given URL with Sipgate. Sipgate.io can be added as an additional module for almost all Sipgate products or is already activated for them. From now on, all employees registered with Xentral will be informed about incoming calls.
These notifications can be enabled or disabled in the personal settings under Phone notifications.
