Service Order Scan This module is an addition to the Service Order module and allows you to quickly change the status of a service order using a barcode scanner. To find the desired service order, it is enough to scan a serial number from the service order or the service order number itself.
Creating barcodes for service order status
Under App Center → Service Order → Settings you can create the statuses for the service orders. Behind each status there is an icon with which you can create a barcode (code 128) in PDF format.
On the right side there is also a button to create a PDF with all statuses at once.
Changing the status by scanning
Under App Center → Service Order Scan you can find the actual module for scanning.
- Scanning the status of the service order
- Scanning an EAN number of an article within a service order or scanning a service order number
If the status and the service order are properly recognized, a message will inform you that the status was changed correctly.
