Table of Contents
The Article Properties Translation app is used to translate the properties of each article into all available document languages of Xentral.
In the overview you can see all translations that have already been created. The language into which the translation was made is always listed, as well as the property and value in the original and translated versions.
You can use the edit and delete icons on the right to change or remove the entries.
Create new translation
Via "+new" you can create a new translation for a property. If the translation is to apply to only one article, you can specify this above.
If you want the translation to be used for this property in general, i.e. in all articles with this property, simply leave the "Article" field empty. The translation will then apply globally.
Similarly, you can either translate only the property (characteristic) or the individual value. If the value is to be translated, both property and value must be specified.
If the translation should only apply in one store, you can also specify the store below. You can combine all settings, i.e. if you fill all fields, the translation will apply only to the specified item and also only in the specified store.
Use of the translation
In each article with properties for which there are translations, these are also listed if they also apply to the article. In the article, the translations cannot be edited to avoid accidentally changing global settings.
In the example, you can see that the English translation of the Color property applies only specifically to this article, while the other translations apply to all articles with this property.
